REIL tenders 8 MW rooftop solar capacity in Rajasthan

Bidders have until May 10 to lodge their interest in installing and commissioning the grid-connected solar capacity at various training and educational institutions across the State.

Jaipur-based Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited has invited bids to set up an aggregate 8 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar capacity at various training and educational institutions across Rajasthan. 

The plant sizes shall range from 10 kWp to 100 kWp. 

The work scope for the successful bidders includes survey, design, supply of balance of systems, installation, commissioning (including net metering), and five-years maintenance of the grid-connected solar plants. REIL shall provide solar modules.

To be eligible, the bidder should have installed and commissioned at least one grid-connected solar plant of a minimum of 100 kWp in any of the last two financial years (FY 2019-20 and 2020-21) for any government institution. It must have completed at least 50 solar installation sites (each greater than 10 kWp) in any one of the last two financial years for government institutions. The bidder’s cumulative experience for the last three fiscal years should exceed 4 MWp grid-connected PV capacity, out of which at least 1 MWp should have been installed in the state of Rajasthan.

The bidder’s annual average turnover from CAPEX mode installations in the last three financial years (2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21) should be at least INR 6 crore.
